I feel like I am standing on the outside. I think I am going to until this election is over. The nastiness and utter arrogance of both sides is really incredible. I just want to hide under a rock and wait for people to be normal again. And not to judge people by which candidate they align (or donapos;t align) themselves with. When people once again realize that we should try to respect other peopleapos;s viewpoints, and yes it is cheesy, but treat others how we want to be treated.
I hate the party system. Especially this year. Maybe it is the nasty Republicanapos;s calling me and the nasty Democrats on campus. This is by no means directed towards everyone, so please do not take personal offense. This is an observation from someone outside the two party line.

Other than that todays lecture in Intro to Special ed was on children with emotional disabilities. When I volunteered at Sindey Lanier those were always the children I had the most difficult time with. I hope that if my career and life takes me towards special education I will be able to handle it and make sure every child has the best chance.
